Our first year of Community Garage events was incredible!

2021 Community Garage Highlights:

  • 3 events with over 20 bikes / riders.
  • 4 Oil Changes
  • 2 Chain Replacements
  • 2 Front / 1 Rear Sprocket Changes
  • 1 Horn Upgrade (Stock to Denali SoundBomb Mini)
  • Some Clutch & Throttle Cable Adjustments
  • Multiple Bike Washes / 1 Bike Polished & Waxed
  • Multiple Chain Clean + Lube

Lets keep it going & get ready for the 2022 riding season!

WHAT: A day to perform various light maintenance on motorcycles with a group ride afterwards. Examples of "light maintenance" include changing oil, changing brake pads, chain/sprocket replacements, motorcycle wash & dry, install a horn etc. You will ride to the garage, and ride out with the group as we finish.

WHY: To be a resource for tri-state riders who...

  • Don't have tools.
  • Don't have a place to work on their motorcycle.
  • Do have tools / work place, but enjoy wrenching with others.
  • Just want to watch & learn.

WHERE: I'm willing to host at my house. I have most tools, a motorcycle lift, universal stands, chain tool/belt gauge, etc.

WHEN: To be decided by the poll above. Barring the unknown, it'll be the date with the most votes.

Anything I haven't addressed? Let me know...

Important:

  • We're hobbyists who love motorcycles & are willing to do light work on our own.
  • Attendees are self-taught. People who learn from the web, forums, YouTube, etc.
  • There will be no mechanics, certified professionals or similar attending.
  • The person who rides the bike to the event - and only that person - is wholly responsible for that bike and anything done in the garage, including accidental damage.
  • You must ride out with the group as the day finishes. This is not for long-term projects / storage.

Cool, can’t wait to get down there again. Looking forward to seeing people. What time?

I'm pretty open to start times in the garage.

Maybe 10 am or later for that? I'll have the heat on 😎

We can head out to ride whenever folks finish up & we're ready.

Ok, let's solidify timing.

Feel free to show up anywhere from 10 - 12.

Whenever everyone is here, and any work is done, we'll head out.

We can make our initial destination somewhere in the Mason / Loveland area to potentially connect with a few others not coming to the garage.

From there....?

Feel free to pitch preferences / ideas. Also, reach out for meet up address if you need it.
