  1. Harbor Freight sells a hot knife that should work for this. I think I paid between $10 - $15 for mine. Looking good! I have no idea what goes into this, so looking forward to seeing it develop.

  7. If you've been to The Dragon recently, you might've spotted Cincy Riders stickers in the communal spots.

  17. Curious if anyone else has heard anything about this? About 2 years ago I started buying into the Ridgid line of cordless power tools, mostly for the lifetime warranty on batteries. A few weeks ago I was in an area Home Depot and started chatting with an employee. The employee said a Ridgid representative that was at the store recently told them that Ridgid plans to file bankruptcy at the end of 2022. I mentioned the lifetime warranty, and he said it'll be gone when/if that happens. Thankfully I'm only 4 tools deep into Ridgid... But did plan to buy a couple more. Anyone else heard anything about this?
  18. Every design has to start somewhere to be refined. Article says the consumer version will have electronic sensors/accelerometers/gyroscopes like current airbag vests and jackets. https://uk.style.yahoo.com/worlds-first-airbag-jeans-protect-140201308.html A brand called Mo'cycle... Makes me wonder how far behind the bigger names in moto apparel are?
  19. One of the nicest Ducatis around. One of 1500. The tube + knob adjusts braking mid-race.

  21. Subs - Pre Box Mount I could've sworn I got a pic of them in the box, but, guess not? πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ Head Unit Everything finished here, including new back-up camera & newest available SiriusXM antenna. 10.1" screen. Notice physical volume knob - you'd be surprised how rare these are on aftermarket units.
  22. Amp Rack Mounted - Ready for Oscilloscope Tuning Power + Ground + RCAs + Remote wires all connected, speaker / sub wires disconnected for tuning with oscilloscope. Silicone heat shrink + ferrules on every connection. Amp Rack Mounted - Fully Wired After Oscilloscope Tune Mostly hidden, but you can see the 0 AWG ground going to the seat bolt. This was drill wire brushed for best possible connectivity.
  23. I have everything in finally. Didn't get pics of everything, but have most of it. Big 4 Fuse + Amp Power Fuse Left the fuse covers off for the photo. Silicone heat shrink + ferrules on every connection. Amp Rack - Pre Install Power & ground distro blocks go from 0 AWG to 4 AWG. 0 AWG laid on top to show difference between them. Went with white PVC due to being hidden behind seats. Silicone heat shrink + ferrules on every connection.
  24. Yoooo that's fuckin cool. There is massively deep / long term potential with this, right? Any plan/need to add cross bracing of any sort to the legs for stability? Also - fuck wood screws. I have several boxes of all sizes, and I swear 25% of them just twist thru the middle of the screw and break in half out of the wood. Drywall / framing / etc ftw.
  25. So. Much. Time. Will be worth it though. I only have 1 car, so whenever I have a couple hours of free time I do what I can, then reassemble everything before I'm finished so I can drive, rinse & repeat. This is the 3rd time I've had all the seats out of it for example. Progress is slow... But it's progress πŸ‘Œ
